A2 Music Video: Genre

Genre-  ‘A category of artistic or composition, in music or literature, characterized by similarities in form, style, or subject.’

After considering and researching various genres and their music I have decided that the genre that I am most likely to choose for my A2 Music Video is Soul/Pop.

Here are few of the genres that I considered:

·        R&B

·        Indie

·        Soul

·        Alternative Rock

·        Rock

It is known that modern music artists have hybrid genres for instance Soul, Pop and R&B such as Paloma Faith, Emile Sande and Jessie J.

To decide which genre i should use i asked a questionnaire to my possible target audience, these questions include:
